If You're Curious
Right now, I'm finishing up my second semester as an MFA student in Creative Writing-Fiction at Pacific University. I'm all-in, writing a literary suspense novel about North Korean operatives tearing up on American interests in South Korea. It will be my thesis.

You may have noticed I wasn't born yesterday. So what am I doing chasing after degrees when I should be learning golf or something? Good question. To answer, I'll have to admit that I've loved writing ever since I figured out how to scribble the letter "A." Stories elicit truth and passion about the human experience. Literature is art, and art is arguably the highest form of what humanity has on offer.

I have a deep-seated desire to communicate with you, The Reader, in a provocative, entertaining, elucidating, thought-provoking and intriguing way. It asks a lot. So much, in fact, that best to learn from the masters. So I am.
When I'm not writing, I'm teaching yoga, hiking, going downhill or cross country skiing, snow shoeing, camping or rock climbing. Yep, I love the outdoors here in Utah. When I hit the road, I like to visit family, sail, play at being a tourist or research a location.
My work as a lawyer taught me the joy of a deep dive into research. My mother gave me a free imagination and my father decimated the idea of limits.
